Peppercorn is looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing team. We’re offering an exciting opportunity to create and use unique data sets to optimise rating algorithms.
By using the latest artificial intelligence (AI) technology, we’re building a fully conversationally based website experience that combines with the integration of AI into our back-office systems, to offer sources of data we’ve not seen available to anyone before.

About the role
Supporting our Head of Pricing, you’ll help develop the rating algorithms for our products. This role will ensure our rates are competitive within our target market segments whilst striking the balance between volume and margin delivery.
Our AI Digital Assistant generates never before seen data giving us opportunities to innovate how we price more accurately and fairly versus incumbent models. There’ll be lots to explore and share to push the boundaries of innovation and you’ll be empowered and encouraged to do so!
Open and clear communication is a must for this role. Being confident and open to sharing knowledge with your peers is essential. We’ve a collaborative approach to identifying problems and discussing proposed solutions and pricing strategies.
About You
As a Pricing Analyst at Peppercorn, we would like to know about your experience in:
pricing of personal lines products on Price Comparison Websites
testing and implementation of rate changes
monitoring actual versus the expected impact of both rate changes and performance of pricing models in general
Some additional things that may make it easier for you to do the job, but aren’t essential:
Proficiency with R/Python toolkits
Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI & Tableau

Salary: Highly competitive salary based on 37.5hrs per week

Location: Fully remote. We arrange away days throughout the year where the whole team from across the UK meet up.
