Our Social Roots
Consideration of our environment is an important area for us. We’re sustainable, eco-conscious and fair at our core. And we have a clear strategy to make a positive social contribution focused on being a business for good - good for our customers, each other, and good to the planet.
Being Green
We hate greenwashing. So, we’re carving out better business practices from the outset.
Our approach is practical, responsible and honest. Instead of making vague claims, we focus on real ways to cut our footprint through daily choices. For example, research shows that working from home just one day a week can save over 379kg of CO2 emissions each year. Multiply that across a whole team, and the savings soon add up.
Remote working is part of our DNA. We do not just work from home once a week, we work from home most of the time. This avoids unnecessary commuting, lowers energy use tied to office spaces, and allows us to build the business around lower-impact choices from the start.
It also changes how we think about travel and collaboration. Meetings are virtual by default, we avoid unnecessary business trips, and when face-to-face sessions are needed, we make them count. Each decision follows the same principle: how can we deliver impact without creating waste or extra emissions?
By embedding these practices into our culture, we show that running a responsible and sustainable business can go hand in hand with supporting the environment and the wellbeing of our team.
Being fair
Our business processes promote positive social change too.
We believe in customer and team empowerment, fairness and betterment. This includes a competitive package, a range of wellbeing benefits and a supportive culture. And we exclude no one and make every reasonable effort we can to accommodate unique needs, schedules and lifestyles.
When we treat our people fair, they feel more empowered to support our customers. Ground-breaking customer service is what you get when teams are free to create together, be proactive, push boundaries and grow.
